Job summary

Vonachen Group in Pekin, IL seeks an Area Operations Manager to oversee approx. 30 janitorial staff across assigned accounts. You will supervise, plan, and coordinate operations, maintain budgets, and communicate with stakeholders. This role requires strong customer service, reliability, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Full-time position with 2nd shift focus; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), PTO, and more. Daily Pay option available.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience providing janitorial services preferred.
• Experience in coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team.
• Knowledge of human resource policies and practices.
• BSCAI-Certified Site Supervisor (CSS) certification preferred.

Vonachen Group is looking to hire an Area Operations Manager in the Pekin, IL area.

The Area Operations Manager is responsible for the management of an assigned account, or multiple small accounts,and the supervisors assigned to these accounts. This person must be confident, well-spoken, committed to customer service and able to work with little supervision.

Job requirements:

Skills and Abilities

• Must be 18 years or older and a valid driver's license and clean MVR
• Must have reliable transportation
• Good communication skills

• Ability to manage, analyze and interpret financial data and results
• Ability to work under pressure
• Basic skill with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for long periods of time

Details

• Full Time- majority 2nd shift hours, with other hours required as needed
• $50,000-$60,000 annual salary
• Bi-weekly Mileage Stipend
