Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates at a delivery/fulfillment site in Tennessee. You will mentor staff, oversee safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and ensure on-time customer orders while coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR.

The role requires 2+ years of people management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or 2+ years with Amazon), and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or nights.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather at delivery stations.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
