Job summary

Amazon in Elmwood, LA is seeking an Area Manager to lead a large team of hourly associates, driving safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time deliveries to customers. Qualifications

3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives.
Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and navigate stairs.
