Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees across our Katy, Texas operations. You will focus on safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time delivery to customers.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to develop plans that meet business objectives. The role requires flexibility, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather conditions; some sites outside.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
