Job summary

Makeready is seeking a creative and results-driven Area Marketing Manager to lead marketing, programming, partnerships, and communications across Makeready's Columbus portfolio, including The Junto and The Merchant Building. This role drives guest satisfaction, profitability, branding, and trends while collaborating with property leadership and agency partners.

You will develop property-level strategies, manage campaigns, coordinate PR, and lead local partnerships, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality marketing experience.
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and CRM platforms.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement property-level marketing strategies aligned with annual business plans and budgets.
• Collaborate with F&B teams to create on-brand activations and seasonal campaigns.
• Coordinate PR efforts, digital updates, email marketing, and advertising needs with agency and internal teams.
• Lead local partnerships and community outreach initiatives.
• Monitor campaign performance, competitor activity, and market trends.
• Participate in strategy and marketing calls, providing actionable insights and follow-ups.
