Job summary

ALSAC is seeking an Area Managing Director in West Virginia to lead fundraising efforts and drive revenue growth. You will oversee a team, build executive-level committees, and expand donor relationships with individuals, corporations, and high-value volunteers.

You will craft donor proposals, manage staff development, and analyze market trends to uncover new opportunities. A strong track record in leadership, budgeting, and strategic fundraising is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in fundraising, development, leadership and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Budgeting, forecasting and office operations experience.
• Proven moves management with high-wealth donor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth in fundraising and KPIs within the assigned area.
• Lead and develop a team of fundraising professionals and volunteers.
• Expand a book of business with individual donors, corporations, and volunteers.
• Develop executive committees and boards to secure new opportunities.
• Recruit and train executive volunteers and committees for events.
• Craft strategies to secure five- and six-figure donations.
• Manage donor leads with the Prospect Development team for proposals.
• Oversee staff development, performance reviews, and staffing plans.
• Stay informed on market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and corrective actions as needed.
