Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an Area Manager for foundation construction across utility power infrastructure. You will lead field crews, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with project stakeholders. Strong supervisory experience and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are essential.

The role requires planning daily operations, managing resources, and maintaining thorough project documentation in a dynamic field setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in foundation construction, drilling, or heavy civil/utility work.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role leading field crews.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to work outages or on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee foundation construction activities: drilling, excavation, rebar, concrete.
• Lead field crews, ensure productivity, quality, safety adherence.
• Plan daily operations, equipment usage, and crew assignments.
• Review drawings and specifications to meet depth, alignment, and tolerance.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and subs.
• Maintain records, track production, and manage materials and logistics.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and conduct daily safety meetings.
