Job summary

Core Dialysis, a leading dialysis provider based in Houston, Texas, is seeking an experienced Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team as Area Manager. The role oversees multiple hospital locations, ensuring quality care, financial objectives, and staff guidance across sites.

You will lead clinical operations, mentor teammates, and coordinate with leadership to optimize workflows while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas.
• Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute nursing experience, preferably in dialysis.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex patient needs.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, sometimes emergency environment.
• Flexible schedule; at least 32 hours/week including call-outs.

Responsibilities

• Administer dialysis procedures to acute care patients, adhering to protocols and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis; ensure safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, treatment plans, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain consistent documentation of data, assessments, care plans, and evaluations.
• Coordinate with multiple hospital locations and teams to meet objectives.
• Oversee on-call coverage and staff scheduling across sites.
• Foster relationships with external vendors and internal colleagues to solve issues.
