Job summary

Cornerstone Capital Bank is seeking a Loan Officer who builds trusted relationships and delivers results for clients and real estate professionals.

You will originate and manage loans, coach regional loan officers, recruit candidates, onboard new LO hires, and support regional production strategies to grow a thriving mortgage practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
• NMLS Safe License required.
• 5 years supervisory OR 2+ years of management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative management skills.
• Proficient in sales and relationship building.
• Creative thinking and strong analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail with clear communication.
• Licensed by applicable regulator in each state of licensable activities.
• Minimum 2 years using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Originate Loans by managing personal production pipeline (sourcing and closing loans) and managing the team pipeline of loans.
• Coaching existing Regional LO's to assist them in achieving their top potential within the Company
• Recruiting LO candidates for the Region
• Onboarding new LO candidates, including training in the Company's sales culture and disciplines and coaching to assist them in achieving their top potential within the Company
• Assisting the Regional with production and support strategies

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry
• Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) Safe License is required
• 5 years supervisory OR 2+ years of management experiencei>
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management style
• Proficient in Sales
• Creative thinking and exceptional analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clearly communicate
• Must be appropriately licensed by the applicable regulator in each state in which he/she does licensable activities
