Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in the United States (TN, McEwen) to lead a team of hourly employees and uphold safety, quality, and delivery standards. The role involves training, shift management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer expectations and performance goals.

Off-site training will be provided, and the position requires open availability for 10-hour overnight shifts on either front-half or back-half schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of hourly employees.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business goals.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts; work in varied environments.
• Support flexible scheduling including weekends and overnight shifts.
