Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance across shifts. You will coordinate with Safety, HR, and other support teams to meet delivery promises and optimize operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves overnight shifts, flexible schedules, and training at an operating site. It includes travel for training and potential schedule changes based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk for long shifts, and handle stairs
• Work in variable environments, including outside/loading areas and refrigerated settings
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
