Job summary

Amazon in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff, uphold safety and quality, and ensure on-time deliveries. You will mentor employees, coordinate with support teams, and drive performance improvements across shifts and sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or 2+ years of Amazon experience) and the ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds. A flexible schedule, weekends and holidays may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs as required by site.
