Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Middletown, OH is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern program within our Operations network. You will coach and develop a team of Amazon Associates, drive standard work, and manage an intern project while learning leadership in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Start date is summer 2027; the role requires strong communication and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed. This hands-on internship builds real-world people leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with anticipated completion between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities).
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable).
