Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager Intern for a 10-week summer program in Ohio. You will coach and mentor a team of Amazon associates in a warehouse environment, learning to lead shifts, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and complete an intern project with site leadership.

The program emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and development, with a focus on collaboration across teams and real-world impact in a fast-paced operation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with all requirements anticipated to be completed between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
