Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Riverside, CA is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates across the three-mile operations workflow. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while engaging the workforce during shifts.

You’ll mentor staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure performance targets are met. The role requires flexibility for varied shifts and a focus on customer satisfaction in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in a variable temperature environment and noise level
• Continuously climb and descend stairs at sites with stairs
