Amazon Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking an Area Manager for our Grocery Fulfillment Center to lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and on-time customer deliveries.

You will collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives. This role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, standing for long shifts, and a flexible schedule including weekends or overnight hours.

Competenze

Area Manager, Grocery Fulfillment Center

We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly employees and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key part in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.

Key job responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
