Scooter’s Coffee is seeking an Area Manager to lead four Grand Rapids-area locations. You’ll work closely with store managers and the District Manager to deliver great guest experiences, build strong teams, and keep operations running at their best.

This hands-on role requires coaching leaders, visiting stores regularly, driving sales and quality, and maintaining company standards and food safety. Flexible schedule and full-time commitment are required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous management or leadership experience.
• Be comfortable leading multiple teams and working across multiple locations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Hands-on management in stores and field leadership experience in food & beverage or retail a plus.
• Coffeeshop experience is a major advantage.

Scooter’s Coffee is looking for an Area Manager to lead four locations throughout the Grand Rapids area. You’ll work closely with your store managers, baristas, and District Manager to create great guest experiences, build strong teams, and keep each location running at its best.

This is a very much hands-on kind of management job. You’ll be out in the stores, working with people, solving problems, developing leaders, and helping your teams turn great coffee into great customer experiences.

What You’ll Do

As an Area Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader for four Scooter’s Coffee locations, helping each one perform at its best.

You’ll:

• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and their teams
• Build a culture where people enjoy coming to work and are motivated to do their best
• Visit and support all four locations regularly, staying connected to what’s happening on the ground
• Help drive sales, profitability, speed of service, quality, and overall store performance
• Make sure guests consistently receive the friendly, fast, high-quality experience Scooter’s is known for
• Coach leaders through challenges and help them grow into stronger managers
• Keep operations running smoothly while maintaining company standards and food safety requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve each store and turn those ideas into action
• Partner with your District Manager to set goals, solve problems, and keep the Grand Rapids area moving forward
• Jump in when your team needs you. Great leaders don’t manage from the sidelines

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know every coffee order on day one. We’re looking for someone who knows how to lead people, take ownership, and get things done.

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have previous management or leadership experience
• Be comfortable leading multiple teams and working across multiple locations
• Have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Be comfortable being hands-on and spending significant time in the stores
• Experience in food & beverage or retail is a plus.
• Coffeeshop experience is a MAJOR advantage.
