Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Massachusetts (Middleborough) to lead a team of hourly staff and uphold safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will ensure orders are delivered on time and to the correct location, coordinating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to hit business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Valid USA state driver's license.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in varying noise and temperatures, with outside loading areas.
