Amazon is seeking an Area Manager, Early Career for a full-time, on-site role within its fulfillment network in Fargo, ND. You will engage, mentor, and develop a team of hourly associates, driving safety, quality, and productivity across shifts while adapting to varying site needs.

The role offers extensive training and development as a people manager, with a clear path for growth within Amazon's operations network.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT. equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed.
Work in an environment where the noise level varies.
Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
Climb and descend stairs (when applicable).
Lead a team huddle to kick off the shift, align on goals and safety priorities.
