Amazon Inc. is hiring for an Area Manager, Early Career (2027) to lead a team in New England locations (CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME). This full-time, on-site role focuses on mentoring hourly staff, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity within a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

You will engage in shift-start handoffs, team huddles, and floor leadership, driving continuous improvement and delivering results that impact customer deliveries every day.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
