Job summary

US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking an Area Manager to oversee four Dayton-area clinics, leading front desk and clinical teams to ensure smooth operations and patient-first care.

You will drive scheduling, onboarding, and staff engagement while ensuring compliance with healthcare policies. Travel between locations is required as part of this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of medical office management experience.
  • Minimum 4 years managing large teams (15+ employees).
  • Deep knowledge of medical billing, insurance workflows, and EMR/EHR systems.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally between clinic locations.
  • Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support team members across front desk and clinical roles.
  • Ensure clinic compliance with policies, HR standards, and healthcare regulations.
  • Manage scheduling systems, queue flow, and daily clinic operations.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor revenue activity, A/R and A/P processes, and assist with local marketing.
  • Resolve patient or staff concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and provider calendars (including on‑call rotations).
  • Manage inventory, supply ordering, and facility maintenance communications.
  • Handle deposits, payroll timekeeping, and front desk coverage when needed.

Physical Requirements:
