Job summary

Big Bear Mountain Resort seeks a seasonal maintenance and custodial team member to perform inside and outside tasks, clean facilities, clear snow, and keep buildings secure. Starting wage is $19.00 per hour, with a range up to $22.80 depending on experience.

Role includes flexible scheduling, weekend/holiday work, and opportunities to contribute to a premier alpine and snow sports destination in Southern California.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping or cleaning services.
• Ability to pass the Company certification to operate equipment.
• Able to read and follow safety rules, instructions and procedures.
• Calm and collected demeanor, especially during challenging tasks.
• Ability to record data accurately and on time.
• Flexible schedule including second/third shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine inside and outside maintenance and custodial services.
• Assist with snow clearing and trash removal; ensure buildings are secure.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides assistance inside and outside, performing routine and preventative building maintenance, custodial services, picking up trash, clearing snow covered paths, and making sure buildings are secure.

Starting wage between $19.00/hr - 22.80/hr depending on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Basic knowledge of and/or training in housekeeping services
• Ability to pass the Company certification to operate equipment
• Able to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Have a calm and collective demeanor, especially during challenging operations
• Ability to record data accurately and in a timely fashion
• Able to work flexible schedules, including second and third shifts, as well as weekends and holidays
