Job summary

Amazon Inc. is hiring an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a maintenance team and drive safety, efficiency, and operational excellence at our Aurora, CO facility. You will develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges, and empower technicians to perform at their best.

You will balance preventative maintenance, coordinate with operations, and respond to emergencies with decisive action, while planning proactively and analyzing performance data to improve site reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years CMMS experience
• 2+ years MS Office experience
• Willing to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Experience with CMMS and data analysis is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols during maintenance activities across the site.
• Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with teams to address system performance issues.
