About The Role

In this role you will lead daily functions of material handling operations and maintenance for multi-site facilities and ensure safe working environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain a safety-first culture in which CBRE employees return home in the same condition in which they reported to work.
  • Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees andevaluate quality of work.
  • Lead and coordinate the work of employees engaged inmaintaining high speed conveyance systems and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist Managers in communicating and accomplishingdepartmental goals and objectives.
  • Participate in conjunction with Manager,interviewing/hiring, employee training, performance evaluations, correctiveactions, and/or terminations.
  • Formulate, disseminate, and communicate work standardsand/or procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead Root Cause and Corrective Actions tofacilitate continuous improvement and development opportunities.
  • Provide performance management for team development andgrowth.
  • Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels andutilization of labor, including overtime.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith the company's values.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our Clientand Operations Maintenance team members.
What You’ll Need
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work inUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in a technical field(Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) required.
  • 4+ years demonstrated ability leading and coachingemployee performance in a manufacturing environment
  • 4+ years of compatible experience and/or training.
  • 2+ years' experience with preventive/predictivemaintenance of equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solvingand analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles, aswell as financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook,Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints,and/or schematics.
  • Understanding predictive maintenance technologies such as (thermography, vibration analysis, and air borne ultra-sound).
  • Proven knowledge of using maintenance systems to achieveworld class equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to travel off-site as needed.
  • Physical requirements including stooping, standing,walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of50 lbs. or more.
