About the Role
We are seeking an ICT / Security Business Class Lead for the MN/WI Area to provide strategic leadership, technical oversight, and operational excellence for our Information & Communication Technology and electronic security systems portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the vision, strategy, and growth plan for the ICT/Security business line.
- Establish and maintain design and implementation standards across all ICT/security projects.
- Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, forecasting, and revenue targets.
- Technical Expertise & Oversight
- Serve as the SME for ICT and electronic security systems, including:
- Access control systems (ACS)
- Video surveillance (CCTV/VMS)
- Intrusion detection systems
- Intercom and mass notification systems
- Structured cabling and network infrastructure
- Provide technical review and guidance on system design, architecture, and integration.
- Provide quantity reviews for compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Support complex and high‑profile project pursuits and proposals.
- Apply high level of problem‑solving skills during design and construction phases.
- Operational Excellence
- Work with the national team to update and maintain SOPs, engineering guidelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor project performance, including schedule, budget, and technical delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and field deployment.
- Ensure alignment between engineering, project management, and field teams.
- Business Development & Client Engagement
- Partner with sales teams to support proposals, estimates, and client presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors.
- Contribute to pursuit strategies, value propositions, and technical differentiators.
- Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and technical forums.
- People Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists.
- Define training programs and career development paths for ICT/security staff.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top technical talent.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) or PSP (Physical Security Professional)
- BICSI DCDC, OSP, or RTPM a plus
- Experience in consulting, construction, or systems integration environments
- Background in enterprise‑level or mission‑critical facilities (e.g., healthcare, campuses, critical infrastructure, federal)
- Can‑Do and problem‑solving mindset
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, on schedule and under budget
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and design standards and practices
- Strong desire for continuous learning and professional education
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Preference given to local candidates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
- 10 years of experience
- Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
- Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience in development and management of diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts

Location & Compensation
Primary Location: United States – Minnesota – Saint Louis Park. Other Locations: St. Paul, Minneapolis, Madison (WI), Milwaukee (WI).
Expected compensation range: $159,642 – $200,000.
