Position Overview

This role manages all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, ensuring timely, accurate processing and high-quality customer service. The associate must safeguard patient privacy, comply with HIPAA and company policies, and travel 75% or more of the time. This is an intermediate-level position requiring at least 1 year of HIM experience, with responsibilities including training and reporting.

Position Highlights
  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MST
  • Travel to healthcare facilities in Murray, Ogden, Park City, & SLC

Key Responsibilities
  • Process patient health information requests per policies
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of information
  • Use company and facility software efficiently
  • Adhere to conduct codes and policies
  • Report work issues and volume fluctuations
  • Assist with training, reports, and other duties as needed
  • Manage and safeguard patient records, ensuring HIPAA compliance
  • Prepare and assemble medical records, digitize documents
  • Respond to internal and external record requests
  • Handle calls, assist walk-ins, and perform administrative tasks
  • Support training of new associates and participate in projects
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Ability to travel regionally (75%+)
  • Overtime availability during peak seasons
  • 1-year HIM experience
  • Basic computer skills, professional communication, attention to detail
  • Strong data entry, organizational skills, adaptability
