Job summary

Campus Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge seeks an Area Facility Manager to oversee maintenance, operations, and appearance of our facilities and assets. You will lead a hands-on team, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safe, efficient environments for staff and members.

The role requires coordinating building systems, budgeting for maintenance and capital improvements, and driving sustainability initiatives, with a focus on service excellence and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of facility management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and vendor management.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and respond to issues.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• FMP designation or related credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and appearance of Campus Federal facilities, including the Siegen Mortgage & Business Center and the Airline Branch.
• Ensure facilities are maintained to established service, safety, and operational standards.
• Prioritize maintenance requests and coordinate service with vendors, contractors, and other service providers.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and oversee repairs to building systems and equipment.
• Manage the operation and upkeep of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, landscaping, waste management, and janitorial services.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure facilities remain in excellent condition.
• Serve as the primary contact for after-hours facility emergencies and alarm notifications.
• Manage maintenance and service schedules for company vehicles assigned to designated locations.
• Support Credit Union operations by assisting with the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) when needed.
• Assist with the development and management of facility maintenance and capital improvement budgets.
• Coordinate recycling and sustainability initiatives to support environmental and organizational goals.
• Oversee mail, package, and supply distribution to ensure timely and efficient delivery across the organization.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure work is completed according to scope, budget, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Support special projects and organizational initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Facility Management Professional (FMP) designation or other facilities-related professional credential preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, facility maintenance, and vendor management.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, contractors, and service providers.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and respond effectively to maintenance and operational issues.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, maintenance schedules, and facility-related projects.
