Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will lead and develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching for expert guidance and a welcoming, confident client journey.

As a visible, hands-on leader, you’ll balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, align priorities, and support client outcomes and business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of work experience leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices, ensuring standards are met.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact to drive improvements across locations.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible leadership.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, reinforcing accountability and performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, outcomes, and real-time feedback to strengthen teams.
