Job summary

H&R Block in the United States is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations while guiding consultative service, operations, and performance.

As a hands-on leader, you will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, manage staffing, compliance, and daily operations, and drive revenue and client satisfaction through disciplined execution and strong team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership with coaching and accountability.
• Drive business results across multiple locations including labor.
• Experience leading through change and new processes.
• Ability to prioritize across locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.
• Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead staff by setting expectations and coaching to performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and feedback.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational outcomes across offices.
• Monitor metrics and take actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and SOPs.
• Prepare for seasonal demand with facilities and workforce readiness.
