Job description

Twenty Four Seven Hotels is currently seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and independent-working Area Executive Chef to oversee back of house restaurant operations of an assigned portfolio. This portfolio includes hotels in Burbank, Calabasas, LAX, and Santa Barbara markets, but may fluctuate over time. As a leader of property teams, you will help us "craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns".

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Training and implementing new menus for Food and Beverage.
  2. Overseeing training and onboarding of all new employees.
  3. Upholding Food and Beverage standards to ensure we are best in class.
  4. Assisting with bespoke activations at the property level.
  5. Developing special menus for bespoke experiences.
  6. Ensuring all supporting documents for menu rollouts are prepared, such as recipe cards, inventory sheets, and order guides.
  7. Maintaining complete knowledge of POS system to update menu items and pricing accurately.
  8. Traveling for 4-5 days consecutively to support properties as needed.
  9. Complying with local and state laws, including Serve Safe and RBS certifications for employees.
  10. Supporting and implementing corporate initiatives across properties for consistency.
  11. Completing quarterly audits of Food and Beverage departments to ensure compliance with standards.
  12. Knowledge of standards from Choice, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt is a plus.
  13. Sourcing products from vendors for marketplace, bars, and restaurants.
  14. Upholding company standards to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all employees.
  15. Adopting a hands-on approach, standing for 6 hours, and working in an office environment with knowledge of software systems or willingness to learn: Microsoft Excel, Word, BirchStreet System, Hotel Effectiveness, ADP.
