Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record necessary.
• Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations mandatory.
• Diligent attention to safety is crucial.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispatch of drivers within the metro-area.
• Monitor driver progress and adjust schedules.
• Maximize truck loads outbound and inbound.
• Optimize use of overtime and outside haulers.
• Support branches in maintaining customer relations as needed.
• Perform all safety inspections as per policies.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
