United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Area Dispatcher in Fayetteville, NC to organize daily driver dispatch for the metro area, ensuring safe and timely deliveries and superior customer service.

You will work with Operations Managers and Inside Sales, monitor progress, adjust schedules, maximize loads, and ensure DOT compliance while maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee dispatch of drivers within the metro-area to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor driver progress and adjust schedules as orders come in.
• Maximize truck loads outbound and inbound.
• Optimize use of overtime and outside haulers to deliver service.
• Support branches with customer relations via phone for changes regarding equipment location or delivery time.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety through proactive communication and policy compliance.
• Perform all safety inspections within company and governmental policies.
