Job summary

FCA invites applications for the Area Director - North Sacramento to lead and grow the ministry in alignment with FCA Vision and Mission. The role emphasizes prayerful leadership, staff and volunteer development, and fundraising to support ministry initiatives.

The Area Director will recruit and onboard staff, work with boards and donors, and ensure ministry activities reflect biblical standards and FCA policies. This is a full-time leadership role based in North Sacramento.

Qualifications

• Agree with FCA's Christian Community Statement.
• Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for the ministry.
• Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example.
• Be connected to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• At all times, conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Grow the ministry by praying, staffing, and funding the area through Advancement Lanes: Ministry, Board, Donor, Talent and International.
• Develop and execute a ministry plan for the assigned area aligned with FCA Vision and Mission.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff and volunteers across the ministry.
• Lead and invest in leadership boards and donor relationships to advance the ministry.
• Support and mobilize International Region through staff and volunteer engagement.
