Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Area Director to lead a team of Food Service Directors across K-12 districts. You will set vision, hire and develop strong teams, and ensure systems are implemented for school-level excellence.

The role requires travel within the Nebraska area with a flexible Monday–Friday schedule, including work from a home office when not on site. Competitive benefits and leadership opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For external hire, a minimum of 5-7 years of multi-site food service management.
• Proven experience leading teams within a decentralized organization.
• Extensive experience in the food service industry and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to Lunchtime’s mission, culture, and values daily.
• Leads and manages a productive, motivated team with regular meetings and coaching.
• Ensures effective engagement with FSDs and maintains open communication.
• Manages customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Develops short- and long-term operating goals with FSDs and monitors progress.
• Develops operating budgets and drives profitability via P&L analysis.
• Oversees start-up of new schools.
• Prepares and presents business trainings as required.
