Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs in Southern and Central New Hampshire seeks an Area Director to oversee multiple after-school sites and lead site teams. You will coach Site Directors, ensure high-quality programs, and maintain licensing compliance across locations.

The role emphasizes coaching, relationship-building with schools, and hands-on leadership in the field, with a part-time, year-round schedule and opportunities for growth within a fast-growing childcare organization.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Background in childcare, youth development, K–12 education, or a similar environment.
• Experience managing and coordinating staff schedules across multiple locations.
• Comfort working directly with school administrators and building staff.
• Familiarity with state childcare licensing requirements is a plus.
• Must pass a full background check including fingerprinting and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful operation of multiple after-school sites.
• Support Site Directors, ensure appropriate staffing, and monitor program quality.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing and safety requirements.
• Build strong partnerships with school leaders and participate in community relations.
• Provide coaching and development for Site Directors and staff.
