Job summary

AFSP Website is seeking an Area Director to influence local communities through strategic peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and events. You will collaborate across teams to grow revenue, secure local sponsorships, and expand event participation while maintaining strong volunteer relationships.

The role requires 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience and a willingness to travel; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and Summer Fridays are offered.

About the Job:

• Plan and oversee peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with various teams and key players to ensure revenue growth in each fundraising event.

• Work closely with committees and volunteers, cultivating relationships and training participants.
• Show the impact of fundraising and complete other special projects as required.

About You:

• 3+ years of peer-to-peer nonprofit fundraising experience is required.
• A bachelors degree is preferred, but not required.
• Relationship-builder that loves to be out in the community and can travel to events throughout the year.
• Skilled multitasker with strong organization and leadership skills.

About the Position:

• $75K-$85K, depending on experience.
