Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking an Area Coordinator 2 - Receiving for the 1st shift in Atlanta, GA. This role manages materials receiving, storage, transfers, and inventory accuracy at a 10,000 square foot storage site and acts as the line lead to ensure smooth production flow.

The coordinator will supervise daily operations, assist with process improvements, and coordinate with the shift supervisor and systems specialist to resolve issues affecting timely movement of materials and order

Qualifications

• Certified to operate a REACH lift.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Ability to coordinate and manage daily operations in a fixed area.
• Serve as line lead and supervise workflow.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement productivity improvements.
• Troubleshoot department processes and issues.
• Provide hands-on training for associates on ticket processing.
• Track inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Process orders, verify prices and availability with vendors, and ship products.

Responsibilities

• Lead area operations and ensure adherence to policies and quality standards.
• Provide on-site training for new and returning associates.
