Job summary

Gateway Community Action in Lewis County, KY is seeking an Area Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the early childhood program. You will supervise staff, ensure appropriate classroom coverage, and maintain child-to-staff ratios to deliver quality services across five counties.

You will implement agency policies, support program managers, monitor data, coordinate trainings, and report outcomes in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years management experience.
• Associate degree or higher in related field with 5 years management experience preferred.
• Well versed in Excel, Word, and Internet for tracking, monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational supervision of assigned early childhood program.
• Coordinate with program managers to align with goals and training needs.
• Ensure adequate classroom coverage and maintain child-to-staff ratios.
• Submit records and reports timely and accurately.
• Attend meetings and participate in trainings as required.
