Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking an Area Coordinator 1 (AC1) to lead floor operations, train seasonal staff, and coordinate tasks for efficient, safe production. You will direct workflow, handle order picking, packing, and inventory control while using WMS and RF scanners to resolve discrepancies.

The AC1 role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, HS diploma or GED, strong communication, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

The AC1 must understand the workflow, including material movement, inventory handling, and order processing. This role is critical to maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety standards while identifying real-time workflow improvements to optimize efficiency.

Physical Requirements (Essential Functions)

• Fast-paced warehouse setting with temperature changes and moving equipment.
• Standard shifts with overtime required during seasonal peaks.
