Job summary

AGL Services Company is seeking a Manager, Area Construction to lead frontline teams across Georgia–Tennessee construction programs. You will manage multiple large-scale projects, coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Role requires strong supervisory experience in gas infrastructure, budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory knowledge. Travel may be required; office-based with field-site flexibility within the territory.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industrial or utility construction/operations.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Natural gas infrastructure experience preferred.
• BA/BS in construction management, business or engineering preferred; PMP/PMI-CP, CWI, CPWI certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects and contract administration, ensuring terms are met.
• Lead and coordinate contractor management, inspections, and data review.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budgets; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and review RFPs, bids, and project documentation; support portfolio management.
