Job summary

HR Collaboration Group LLC in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Area Manager Assistant to support the Area Manager in delivering high-quality cleaning services across multiple locations. You will perform hands-on cleaning, conduct quality inspections, and handle supply and laundry delivery while mentoring cleaning specialists to uphold client standards.

The role requires the ability to manage schedules, travel approximately 25%, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning or similar teams is preferred.
• Ability to clean and inspect work to established standards.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and timekeeping/inspection systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Area Manager in maintaining high-quality cleaning services across locations.
• Inspect quality of cleaning at customer locations and ensure standards.
• Exchange laundry and deliver cleaning supplies per schedule.
• Provide coverage for open positions and assist in staffing.
• Coach and mentor cleaning specialists on responsibilities, standards, and procedures.
• Handle verbal warnings and communicate performance concerns to managers.
• Provide limited customer service and maintain relationships with customers.
• Assist with timekeeping and payroll records.
• Maintain schedule of customer visits and stay visible to customers.
• Report progress and concerns to managers.
• Prioritize tasks during emergencies and staff shortages while maintaining schedules.
