Job summary

Loews Arlington Live! by Loews is seeking an Area Catering Sales Manager to drive revenue through proactive lead follow-up, site visits, and compelling presentations.

You will coordinate meetings and events, ensuring every detail meets Loews standards of excellence while building strong client relationships in a fast-paced hotel setting. You’ll collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to tailor menus, oversee event docs, and lead pre/post-convention meetings to boost repeat business, with a focus

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years progressive Catering, Meeting and Event Management experience in a full-service hotel environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Meetings & Events or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel operating departments and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming leads and prospect new catering business to drive revenue.
• Conduct site visits and presentations to convert opportunities into bookings.
• Plan, coordinate, and service all booked catering events with flawless execution.
• Collaborate with the Director of Meetings and Events on annual sales strategies and promotions.
• Partner with Culinary and F&B teams to design customized menus for clients.
• Manage event documentation including Banquet Event Orders and resumes for operations.
• Lead pre- and post-convention meetings to reinforce client confidence and rebooking.
• Solicit client feedback via surveys to improve future experiences.
• Coordinate with Financial Service Center to ensure accurate billing and credit processes.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas to property success.
