Job summary

MoonLake seeks a high-impact Immunology Therapeutic Specialists Leader to drive the U.S. launch and local market strategy for sonelokimab in HS. You will coach a district of 8–10 professionals, translate national strategy into territory plans, and optimize execution with data-driven insights.

You will partner across functions to navigate access barriers, build a performance culture, and lead business reviews, ensuring compliant, high-impact activities in a dynamic biotech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial experience, including 3+ years of sales leadership.
• Specialty-market experience in dermatology, immunology, biologics, or HS preferred.
• Strong coaching, performance-management, and talent-selection capabilities; translate insights into actions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a district of 8–10 specialty field professionals.
• Translate national brand strategy into territory-level priorities, account plans, and customer-engagement expectations.
• Spend significant time in the field observing customer interactions and coaching selling skills.
• Guide teams in identifying priority dermatology practices, HS centers, referral networks, and local market dynamics.
• Use CRM, call activity, access trends, and performance data to diagnose opportunities and improve execution.
• Partner with Field Reimbursement, Medical Affairs, and cross-functional colleagues.
• Build a performance culture with frequent feedback and differentiated development plans.
• Lead district business reviews and communicate insights upward.
• Ensure adherence to all policies, materials, and applicable laws and regulations.

Job Purpose

Lead a high-performing team of Immunology Therapeutic Specialists through the potential U.S. launch of sonelokimab in HS. This role requires more than traditional sales management: the leader must build local market strategy, coach sophisticated clinical selling, understand access barriers, and create a high-accountability team culture.

• Translate national brand strategy into territory-level priorities, account plans, and customer-engagement expectations.
• Spend significant time in the field observing customer interactions, coaching sell-ing skills, evaluating business acumen, and reinforcing compliant execution.
• Guide teams in identifying priority dermatology practices, HS centers, referral networks, and local market dynamics.
• Use CRM, call activity, access trends, and performance data to diagnose opportu-nities and improve execution.
• Partner with Field Reimbursement, Medical Affairs, and local cross-functional colleagues.
• Build a performance culture with frequent feedback, transparent expectations, and differentiated development plans.
• Lead district business reviews and communicate customer, competitor, referral, and access insights upward.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience:

• 8 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial experience, including 3 years of successful sales leadership.

Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:

• Specialty-market experience required; dermatology, immunology, biologic, or HS experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading through product launch, market expansion, or major competitive change.
• Strong coaching, performance-management, and talent-selection capability.
• Ability to interpret field data and translate insights into practical actions.
