Job summary

Empire Today is seeking an Area Accounting Associate to join our highly creative, cutting-edge marketing team. The Area Accounting Associate is responsible for collecting, verifying, and posting completion paperwork, deposits, and COD payments for all products within their designated Area.

This position reports to the Area Office Manager Branch Accountant. We offer paid time off and holiday pay, a wellness program, an incentive plan, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year accounting or collections experience.
• Knowledge of Home Improvement/Sales Industry is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily work orders against data in Empire Today systems for markets within the Area.
• Receive, post, and verify payments; prepare checks for deposit.
• Assist Area Office Manager with month-end close-out reports.
