Job summary

Fairweather in Alaska is seeking a Town-based Document Controller to support project teams in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment. This role provides care, custody, and control of compliance-controlled project documentation and serves as a key interface for contractor document control staff.

The position requires participation in Contractor and Client safety meetings and the ability to speak up when unsafe acts are witnessed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/admin, library science, project, or construction management.
• At least 3 years of Document Control or related experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple time-bound tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronic project document management duties including routing, publishing, distribution, auditing, and storage.
• Develop and maintain DRAM and Document Distribution Matrix templates and processes.
• Onboard new users to the document management system and address user questions as SME.
• Coordinate with Engineering & Fabrication Contractor document control teams to ensure compliance.
• Attend project meetings and elevate document control issues as needed for awareness.
