Job summary

NANA Worley is seeking an experienced engineer to analyze data, develop scopes, estimates, and schedules for oil and gas projects in Alaska. You will review drawings, select major equipment and materials, and ensure adherence to project specifications and codes.

The role requires Alaska PE licensure, 5+ years in oil & gas, and experience with Arctic pipeline projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to support fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum two years off-pad pipeline engineering experience.
  • Experience with Arctic or North Slope projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 piping codes and ASHRAE standards.

Responsibilities

  • Researches and analyzes design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine feasibility.
  • Develops project scope, estimates and schedules with clients.
  • Reviews and approves project drawings, standards and specifications.
  • Provides technical direction to engineers, designers and drafters.
  • Ensures compliance with codes, regulations and laws.
  • Supports fabrication and installation phases to ensure documents are followed.
  • Coordinates activities with other disciplines involved in fabrications and installations.
