Job summary

Fairweather seeks an Alpine Laboratory and Field Maintenance Technician to provide safe sampling and analytical support for Arctic field operations, ensuring quality control of field products and monitoring facility systems. You will assist the Asset Integrity team, support drill site maintenance, and help manage day-to-day field operations.

The role requires color differentiation, respiratory protection, independent work, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct oilfield/petro-chemical operations experience.
• MS Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Ability to read meters, gauges, and written instructions.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Driver’s license and ability to operate in North Slope fields.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift independently.

Responsibilities

• Report analytical data using LabVantage (LIMS) and Business Objects.
• Analyze custody transfer crude and field samples.
• Perform field sampling for routine analyses of production systems.
• Maintain lab procedures and ensure safe operations at field sites.
• Support field operations with maintenance, sampling, and data quality checks.
