Responsibilities

• Digitize archival materials, including photographs, documents, yearbooks, newspapers, audiovisual materials, and other historical records using scanners and related equipment.
• Help move archival collections within storage areas following safe lifting procedures.
• Perform basic image processing, file organization, quality control, and naming of digital files according to established procedures.
• Assist with the physical arrangement and description of archival collections under the supervision of archives staff.
• Handle archival materials with care while following preservation and security guidelines.
