Job summary

Selldorf Architects in New York City is seeking an Architectural Intern for the Fall semester. This paid, part-time internship offers hands-on experience in design, documentation, and presentation within a collaborative, design‑focused studio.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a 4–5 year architecture program with at least two years completed, have basic drawing and rendering skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and the Adobe suite.

Qualifications

Selldorf Architects is seeking an Architectural Intern for the Fall semester. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility, intellectual curiosity, and a thoughtful approach to architecture, materiality, and spatial composition. We are looking for a motivated and highly organized individual who is eager to contribute within a collaborative and design-focused studio environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on carefully considered projects with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, proportion, detail, and architectural integration.

Requirements

• Applicants must be enrolled in a 4-5-year architectural undergraduate degree or Master’s program and have completed a minimum of 2 years.
• Previous experience in an architectural office or related field desirable.
• Basic abilities in drawing and rendering required.
• Model building skills are required
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Applications and 3D Visualization Programs including Rhino
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and precision and with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined.

This is a paid, part-time internship based in our New York City office. The anticipated hourly compensation range is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and demonstrated technical skills.

Candidates should be available to work approximately 16–24 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester. The position requires regular in-person attendance in our New York City office.
