Zusammenfassung

Fresno City College is seeking an Architecture Instructor for its Part-Time Faculty Pool to teach on the Fresno campus and at off-site locations as needed. The instructor will cover architectural drawing, CAD, building codes, and design projects, using AutoCAD and related software to prepare students for professional practice.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a valid California Community College credential.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two years of related professional experience; or an associate degree and six years of related professional experience.
A valid California Community College credential or equivalence is required.
Ability to teach Architecture, drafting, and related courses including CAD concepts.

Aufgaben

Instructs drawing a complete set of working drawings for mechanical/architectural projects, on board or computer.
Emphasizes CAD with AutoCAD products and other software; Windows proficiency.
Teach drafting techniques: orthographic projection, isometric/axonometric views, dimensioning.
Cover topographic drawing, building codes basics, and technical writing.
Deliver courses in architectural design, drafting math, and safety/code administration.
Adapt to evening/weekend/online/off-site instructional settings as needed.
